I graduated in May, 2017 and took my test in June after Amelies review. She said to do the questions, she said to read the guidelines but, after getting almost 4.0 at a very prestigious university (Ohio State College of Nursing) I thought I could just wing it! After contacting APEA, I heard from Amelie herself giving me encouragement and guidance. Allen Boussard talked to me many times over the past year, letting me retake the review and actually extended it three times because I had several surgeries during the past year. They were always there for me. During preparation for this exam, I took everything Amelie said to heart: I did all the Qbank questions and especially read the rationales, I read all the pertinent guidelines for each section and I did her predictor exam twice, each one was different. I took my exam on October 27. I remember the first time not knowing half the questions and guessing on many of the other half; this time, there were few questions that I didn't know for sure. I walked out of the exam with no doubt that I had passed. It was a great feeling to feel so confident. So my advice to you: take Amelie's review, do what she says, and you can't go wrong. Thank you so to APEA and especially Amelie and Allen for believing in me and working with me through this past year, being so gracious to me so that I could have this fabulous end result!! Thank you, thank you!!!!!

I was amazed
I was amazed I could remain engaged for such long periods of time but the speakers were very entertaining as well as informative. I also utilized the Qbank from APEA. This course was not the only study materials I used to prepare for the FNP exam but it was my main source. Thank you APEA.

Prepared me
The APEA review course prepared me for the AANP boards and taught me so much about FNP practice. Amelie and Mimi were the best
Most of the presenters were great! Amelie and Mimi were the best and engaged everyone in such a way as to really drill what we need to know for boards into our brains. During the exam, I kept hearing Amelie and Mimi - and had to chuckle a couple of times at what I was remembering - fun, but oh so helpful!! Boards were not fun, but they were not horrible either, thanks to the great review!!

I can't stress enough that is it beneficial to take a live review course. I did not pass the boards the first time around, I used online materials and videos and thought that this would be good enough. I think that my nerves got the best of me. I went to the live review course and took another predictor test after the course and focused my studying on my weaknesses. I felt like this really prepared me better the second time around. Amilee and Mimi give helpful hints in the live course as well. That really care about each and every one of us. They are so supportive and uplifting. My grad school used APEA to prepare us during our last class through a Q bank question subscription and pre/post predictor exams. The Q bank was neat because it gave you options of doing random mix of questions vs system by system, exam vs tutor mode, and let you pick how many you wanted to do. By using these study aids I was feeling more prepared. I took the live FNP review course in Houston and boy am I glad I did! It really brought everything together and taught me what I "needed to know" and condensed 2 years worth of school seamlessly. When I was taking my exam I could hear Dr. Hollier's voice in the back of my head! She is a wonderful teacher and I can't sing her praises enough. I hope to go to another review course in a few years when it's time for me to renew my license. Thank you again APEA and Dr. Hollier!!

Dr. Hollier offers more materials than any other company
Dr. Hollier offers more materials than any other company. Her online review course is amazing. Even when I was so tired from studying, I still looked forward to her engaging presentations. They are quick, cover the most pertinent material, and taught me (or reminded me) of material that deepened understanding. The syllabus materials are excellent and can be saved and searched. There are really good questions within the syllabus as well. I own Dr. Hollier's book of FNP review test questions. I have used her online bank of questions (QBank) for subject review, random questions, assessment, management, and mock 150 question exams. I have taken her boards predictor exam and the results are accurate and easy to understand. There is no other group in the industry of prep for the NP exams that has everything that APEA has. Also, I wrote the company and Dr. Hollier replied to my request. Other companies do not do this. I am incredibly grateful I found all of these fabulous tools, APEA, and especially Dr. Hollier.

I just passed my FNP boards after taking the in person review Nov. 2014 in Baton Rouge, LA. I was skeptical about just using one review process! Let's just say now I can personally tell you to trust this review as it is ALL you need to pass boards. I also purchased one predictor exam and several quizzes. They also helped as they are very similar to the format of boards. You will not be sorry! Pay the money, study what they tell you and you will pass too!!!!!!

Just wanted to say thank you! I completed the review course several weeks ago back in Memphis - purchased a couple of the predictor exams to help me focus (Really needed that after multiple family emergencies that really tested my perseverance and sanity), the book of questions also really helped - great resources. I passed my exam on Monday and I graduate this Saturday! I would highly recommend APEA, Dr. Hollier and all of her staff are excellent to work with and offer you nothing but encouragement along the way!

APEA helped!
I took the FNP review class 1st week of april in Phoenix and passed the exam 2 weeks ago! Done and over and I KNOW the live class coupled with reviewing the book afterwards and online test practice questions at APEA helped!

Awesome course.
I ordered and listened to Dr. Hollier's CD's in my car twice. Reviewed the book multiple times. Passed my ANCC boards on Friday. Able to easily retrieve the information learned from the cd's. Awesome course. Hope I get to thank you in person some day and I love Mr. Peyton Manning as a player and for heart murmurs too! Go Broncos!

This was the best review I have ever attended. (Being a nurse educator, I have been to plenty) I would recommend it to anyone in the FNP program. I will not be sitting for certification until April or May, 2017. This review has given me plenty of information, know where my weak areas are and time to review. Thank you Amelie & Jeanie...You are both awesome.

Helped me to get a great update on the latest in pharmacology!
Amelie's excellent teaching abilities helped me to get a great update on the latest in pharmacology! I never thought that listening to a lecture on the P450 system would have me totally engaged and wanting more! Amelie is such an expert that she can easily summarize the "need-to-know" issues not only for students but for NPs with decades of experience such as myself!

Wonderful review! I took this course prior to starting my clinic rotations as a review of the things I might see most often in a family practice, but I will definitely audit this course again next year prior to boards.

Passed my boards yesterday!
Passed my boards yesterday! I bought the FNP audio CD's and Dr. Hollier made it so fun and entertaining to listen to. I could hear her voice and her accent in my head while I was taking the test. Mr. Peyton Manning saved me from heart murmurs. I wish I could have attended a live course. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Amelie Hollier and Mimi Secor are outstanding speakers - they are so knowledgeable but they know exactly how to make learning fun and memorable! Love the atmosphere and camaraderie! Was attending for CEUs, but will definitely be back!

I would highly recommend this program to anyone.
I took the APEA live review beginning of June and passed boards yesterday. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who is looking to pass their boards the first time. Amelie and Mimi were both excellent speakers that kept me engaged during the entire program. Thank you all!!

I took the online FNP review course, and passed my boards yesterday! Thank you so much Dr. Hollier! During my studies as well as the exam I would recall your wonderful classes and hilarious stories! I do believe that throughout my career I will always use Mr Payton Manning as MVP! I enjoyed learning from you so much, that I will definitely be using your site for future CEU's!
